Join the Fallen Angel Crew

Help us build the magic.

Every event we produce is a world built for one night. Aerialists overhead, fire on the floor, a room full of people who will talk about it for years. Our crew builds it, runs it, and captures it.

When are you usually free to work?

Check all that fit. You never have to take a gig that doesn't work for you.

Would you take farther trips and stay overnight?

We work anywhere within about six hours' drive. Farther trips include travel pay, a meal per diem, and a hotel.

Questions you might have

Is this a full time job?

No. You're an independent contractor, and we call on you as events come up. There's no set schedule, so most of our crew keep their day jobs.

How often will I work?

It depends on the season and our event calendar. Your first event could be a few weeks or a few months away. Crew who answer offers quickly and do great work get offered first.

When are events?

Weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Setup can start in the morning, and strike often wraps after midnight. You pick the events that fit.

Where are events?

Mostly around the Twin Cities, and anywhere within about six hours' drive. Farther trips include travel pay, a meal per diem, and a hotel, and you can always say no to one. Many crew shifts start at our Minneapolis studio, where we load the truck.

Do I need experience?

Not for most crew roles. We'll show you how we do things. Riggers need real rigging experience, and photographers and videographers need a portfolio.

What does training look like?

You learn on real events. On your first one you're paired with someone who has done it before, and they show you how we do things step by step. Riggers are the one exception, since that role needs experience from day one.

What happens before each gig?

Every offer lists the role, the times, the pay, and what to bring, so you know exactly what you're saying yes to. Before your first event, someone from our crew team calls to walk you through it.

How much does it pay?

Explore any role to see its rate. Every offer shows the exact amount for that event before you say yes.

How do I get paid?

By direct deposit after each event, once your tax form is signed in our crew app.

What happens after I apply?

We read every application ourselves. If it looks like a fit, we'll give you a call, then invite you to our studio to meet. Either way, you'll hear back from us.
